League of Christian Schools has partnered with the Nehemiah Institute to develop an online course on “Education from a Biblical Worldview.” It’s an excellent course for teachers new to Christian education, especially those whom have received only secular university training. The course is 20 hours long, broken into 12 lessons, plus the PEERS tests, a worldview assessment taken at the beginning of the course. ILCS/FLOCS Instructor Jim Gilbert presents the course material in a video format.

This course awards twenty hours, or, two (2.0) Continuing Education Units, that can be used for Florida State Teacher Certification as well as LCS Educator Certification. This course also meets the requirement of a Philosophy of Christian Education course needed for teacher certification through ILCS/FLOCS.
