Discover the Power of Purposeful Technology Use

Empowering Students Beyond the Phone Policy

Join us in redefining technology’s role in education. Learn how to foster a culture of presence and engagement in your school community.

Most of our schools have already made the call on phones. A policy is in place. But here’s what policy can’t do:

  • It can’t teach a student why being present matters.
  • It can’t give them tools for resisting distraction when no one’s watching.
  • It can’t align your school community, students, teachers, and parents, around a shared vision for healthy technology habits.

That’s the work of formation and culture and it requires more than rules.

Next week, I’m hosting a free 30-minute webinar with Christina Crook, Founder and CEO of JOMO(campus), to talk about exactly this:

Webinar: What Comes After the Phone Policy?

April 28 & April 30

Join Christina Crook, Founder and CEO of JOMO(campus), for a free 30-minute webinar exploring the next steps after implementing a phone policy in schools. Discover how to cultivate a culture of presence and engagement among students. Hear insights from The Rock School on their successful implementation of the JOMO(campus) program.

JOMO stands for Joy of Missing Out. The JOMO(campus) program gives Christian schools a Scripture-rooted, grade-specific curriculum that equips students with the understanding and agency to make wise choices with technology — not just comply with rules. It also equips teachers with professional development and brings families into the same conversation.

You’ll also hear from The Rock School — one of our own League members — on what they’ve seen implementing the program: more connection during breaks, more engaged classrooms, and habits that are beginning to extend beyond the school walls.
