SUBSTANTIVE CHANGES A school/school system must report to League of Christian Schools within sixty (60) days of occurrence any substantive change in the school/school system, which changes the scope and/or has an impact on the school’s/school system’s ability to meet the ILCS/FLOCS standards and policies. The report of a substantive change must describe the change itself as well as detail the impact of the change on the quality of education in the school/school system. Substantive change areas include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Consolidation or reorganization of the school
• Purpose and direction of the institution
• Change of ownership or governance structure of the school/school system including changing to a charter school/school system or being the subject of a state takeover
• Addition/Deletion or major programs (Addition/Deletion of two or more grade levels served by the school/school system or a change of 20% or more of the credits offered)
• Available facilities, including upkeep and maintenance accreditation policies and Procedures
• Establishment of an additional location geographically apart from the main campus
• Available programs, including fine arts, practical arts, and student activities.
Schools filing substantial changes (addition of building/rooms, new curriculum, drastic shifts in finances, staffing, or enrollment, or addition of age or grade levels, etc…) may be subject to an intermediate site visit to be conducted by a representative of the commission.
School/school system failure to submit a substantive change may result in changes to the school’s/school system’s accreditation status and/or loss of accreditation.
AUP or letter from an auditor or external reviewer * Required Agreed Upon Procedures Report (AUP) OR a letter from an auditor or EXTERNAL reviewer of the school stating school finances have been reviewed and the school is in good standing. (i.e. such as Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP), Accountant or CPA.)

New Faculty / Staff * Required List any staff or faculty that have been added for the new school year, or became a part of the staff during the last school year: Provide the following for all new staff: Transcripts, certificates, or DCF credentials Attach a document. In-service/ professional development * Required Provide a list to Include title, dates, and hours of: staff faculty orientation, staff/faculty meetings, training conducted on or off site, conferences, end of year meetings. New Resources * Required Provide a list to Identify any new resources implemented this school year: text alert systems, internet, support programs, etc.
