The TEACH Early Childhood® Scholarship Program provides scholarships and comprehensive support to early learning educators and directors, family child care educators and owners, out-of-school-time educators, and child care facility owners. Funded by the Florida Division of Early Learning, the program makes higher education more attainable by offering a variety of scholarships for early learning credentials, college credits and certificates, and degrees in early childhood education or related fields.

The Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Online Training is a 120-hour online program designed to prepare students to honor God as child care workers and teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality Christian childcare programs. The completion of these courses, coupled with 480 hours of work experience qualifies the student for their FCCPC. This program requires students to participate in online classes for 15 weeks and complete all assignments given by the class instructor.

A student completing the FCCPC Online Training will be able to meet the specific needs of children and work with parents and other adults to nurture the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in a child development framework. Please be aware that this course meets the state requirement for a staff credential but DOES NOT award college credits.

To complete this application, you will need:

1. A scanned color copy of your driver’s license
2. A scanned copy of your High School diploma, transcript, or home school affidavit. If your diploma was issued from a foreign country, then it MUST be translated and certified.
3. A scanned copy of your DCF Transcript
4. A signed and scanned copy of the Student Enrollment Agreement
