Project Description

The Florida League of Christian Schools provides a Florida Child Care Professional Credential program which offers training to satisfy the Florida Staff Credential requirements and is licensed by the Florida Department of Education. Our courses meet face-to-face throughout the state or online for busy professionals who cannot travel to one of our clinical sites.

The Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Training is a 120-hour program designed to prepare students to honor God as childcare workers and teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality Christian childcare programs. Completing these courses coupled with 480 hours of work experience qualifies the student for their FCCPC. Whether attending an in-person program or online, the FLOCS FCCPC program requires students to participate in courses for 15 weeks.

A student completing the FCCPC training will be able to meet the specific needs of children and work with parents and other adults to nurture spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in a child development framework. Please be aware that this course meets the state requirement for a staff credential and DOES NOT award college credits.
