Our friends at RedefinEd have recently reported on Gov. Terry McAuliffe veto of three school choice bills that passed the house and senate this past session. The three bills could have:

  • created education savings accounts that would give parents access to up to 90 percent of the per-pupil Standards of Quality funding that goes to public school districts
  • allowed students to move out of troubled schools
  • created a virtual school
